Measurement & Evaluation
Overview
Being a core member of a small working group, tasked with measuring the impact of the learning produced by the Digital Learning Team. I both pitched and lead through new ideas, as well as assisting other members with their work. I outline below the specific impact I have had on the team.
Learner Feedback
My Impact:Automating the Learner feedback process, resulting in 2-3 hours less admin time per month, and minimising any possibility for human error when collating data.
Learning Impact Lookin Report
My Impact:I pitched the idea of, and led the production of a monthly report that would showcase the impact our learning team had on our learners, as well as what we were focussing on in the next month, based on the feedback, to improve our ways of working.
Later having buy-in from 4 other learning/training teams in the business, resulting in me leading a collaborative monthly report, which was received incredibly well by Senior Leadership.
LIL Recognition Corner
My Impact:Pitching the idea of extending the weekly recognition call within the team to encompass positive feedback from the learner's themselves.
Providing data for, and creating a fun, and positively competative way to boost team morale and provide visibility to the developers of the impact they have on the learners.
What I have learned
In order to remove the need to manually collate hundreds of learner feedback responses each month I learned how to combine Microsoft Forms with Excel using the Microsoft Automation tools, resulting in a monthly admin time reduction of 2-3 hours.
Leading the monthly report allowed me the opportunity to learn how to collaborate with different teams, all with their own timescales and ways of collecting learner feedback. Needing to make this process as streamlined as possible so as not to take time away from higher priority tasks, was a good challenge when working with 4 different teams.
